POWDER COATING
Powder coating provides an appealing finish that protects the applied surface for an extended period of time.

Powder coating provides an appealing finish that protects the applied surface for an extended period of time. At elevated temperatures the powder melts, cures and forms the final paint film. Our range of powders are used for product coatings within the metal industry, e.g. for lighting fixtures, apparatuses, furniture, shop outfitting, agricultural and household appliances. Also suitable for use on many special areas in the heavy metal and chemical industry.
The resultant paint film has excellent mechanical properties, i.e. good abrasion and impact resistance and elasticity. It is not scratched easily and withstands action by acids, alkalis, greases and solvents. Its anticorrosive properties are also good. We provide a wide array of finishes wide range of colors and finishes for all your needs.
Powder coating is a dry finishing process that involves applying a free-flowing, thermoset or thermoplastic powder to a surface. The powder is electrostatically charged and sprayed onto the object, which is then heated to allow the powder to melt, flow, and cure into a durable, uniform coating.
Powder coating offers several advantages over liquid paint, including:
-
Durability: It provides a thicker, more resilient coating that is resistant to chipping, scratching, fading, and wear.
-
Environmental Impact: Powder coatings emit minimal to no volatile organic compounds (VOCs), making them more environmentally friendly.
-
Efficiency: The overspray can often be recycled, leading to reduced waste and cost savings.
-
Uniform Finish: It delivers a smooth, even finish without runs or sags.
Powder coating is commonly applied to metals such as steel, aluminum, and cast iron. However, advancements in technology have made it possible to powder coat non-metal substrates like certain plastics, composites, and medium-density fiberboard (MDF), provided they can withstand the curing temperatures.
